In this paper proposes the analytical method of spatial harmonic analysis for SPMSM with complicated shape of magnet, especially, cycloid shaped magnet. The magnet is divided into pieces and boundary condition is applied separately to each piece. Then flux density can be obtained by superposition of each result of piece using spatial harmonic analysis.
