The linear oscillating actuator (LOA) drives linear compressors with high power density and efficiency. Accurate loss calculation is crucial for  fficiency. Thus, LOA requires 3D finite element analysis due to complex structure. Conventional methods consider only direct current copper and iron  oss. This paper proposes a method incorporating core anisotropy and alternating current copper loss. Each element is introduced, and errors of  conventional and proposed methods are compared.
