This paper proposes a method to reduce vibration in dual-stator permanent magnet synchronous motors through adjustment of the mechanical shift angle of inter-stator. The optimal inter-stator angle for minimal vibration was determined using the proposed vibration reduction method and validated against deformation analysis using 2D Finite Element Analysis (FEA).The study examined both ideal three-phase sinusoidal currents and inverter drive currents to reflect actual operating conditions. Results demonstrate that the proposed method reduces vibration under inverter drive current conditions.
